APIP- I.G.Senel &Co. has founded by Dr. I. Gokhan Senel in the first quarter of 2007, in order to satisfy the demands of Turkish generic manufacturers as well as global players to whom has already recognized this exceptionally fast growing market of the World,  that was reported to be 1st one, as have exhibited a growth rate of  54% from Jan 04-Dec. 05, according to IMS data. Our aim is to fulfill the requirements of the sector, particularly in the fields of  intellectual property (IP) / patent, API sourcing, dossier & candidate selection, partnership for vertical business growth efforts. 

Dr. Senel has obtained PhD degree in Chemical engineering at Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey and about half of his career he has gained his expertise at abroad. As a post doctoral associate  he carried out three years of work at the Chemical Engineering and Material Science Departments & Energy Labs of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, Boston USA). Following to that he continued his career at the University of Tokyo, Chemical Systems Engineering Department in Japan for four and a half years, as a research associate. Upon return to Turkey, He joined one of the world's leading generic companies, ACTAVIS- FAKO in Istanbul where he had been worked as a responsible manager for the API selection and IP matters for four years.

Dr. Senel has attended various congress and symposiums which were held in all over the world and gave presentations. He has several Journal publications and patents. He has granted several awards, including Japan Science and technology (JST) visiting scientist award, NATO Post doctoral scholarship award and  master thesis award. He is an active member of several organization including Intellectual Property Rights Committee of Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association, TUSIAD. I.G.Senel &Co has very strong ties and connections with the leading global and domestic companies, with the national and international research institutions, academy as well as with the governmental organizations.

Our activities are not limited only by providing "SHARP, ACCURATE AND CRYSTAL CLEAR solutions and alternatives" but also we aim at handling our duties within the shortest period of time, in order to lead our clients to be earliest in filing dossiers to MOH, and first in launching the products in this exceptionally competitive environment. 

We are confident with ourselves due to our expertise  that we had gained during the last twenty years both in industry and academy, both in here, in Turkey as well as in the two biggest market of the world, i.e. in USA and in Japan,  as well as in Canada.  We very well aware of the realities and practices of the sector that we try to couple them with our hands on experience that are not limited only in Pharmaceutical field but also extends to the chemical industry, material and particle science applications, biotechnology, fuel scence and environment  together with the characterization, analysis, determination, validation  techniques  in those fields, as well as construction of systems and their instrumentation ranging from lab size to pilot plants, even including units of heavy industries. We also followed and practiced methodologies, rules, regulations and standards in those fields.

We can also support horizontal growth activities, in addition to vertical and speedy growth  interests, in those cases, our efforts would be aimed at orchestration and organizing of material and manufacture chains and outsourcing activities, again on a just on-time basis. In doing so, of course, we would be applying a full- stepwise- scientific and commercial plan. For instance, whenever needed,  we can obtain several intermediates from different suppliers, and send them out to the another expertise company that we very well aware of in the sector,  to have them, in pellet or OROS tablet form or synthesis of an alternative salts of any particular molecule to in order to circumvent of an constraining patent;  in sufficient quantities, sizes and purity. following to that, we have them tested in the academic organizations at which we have had excellent relationships and  ties over years, that are  capable of handling very distinct characterizations based on our scientific plan derived from our case-by case -specific and extensive literature survey. After obtaining  all results, we evaluate them and deliver a clear picture of the case, for instance, it  could be a  determination of a blend of hydrates & polymorphs or a racemic mixture that could be impossible to determine with  a single or a known technique which makes most of the generic companies to gave up at earlier stages.... 

We do follow market trends and keep updating our knowledge regularly. In one hand, we investigate promising molecules that can be launched in any particular country after the expiry of the constraining patent and/or data exclusivity together with the availability and specs of  their API's, documentation and validity and approval risks. On the other hand, we conduct analyses for the molecules available for licensing in any particular country or territory,  their time of availability of  launch and their candidacy for being a promising alternative for a particular indication and for a certain level of profit.

Our market- source- company investigations are also extending  best alliance settlements for  mutual benefits and for generating maximum synergy, for a win-win situation, which is in turn, leads to higher growths and profitability's for the parties involved.
